Program Coordinator

Allyz Kramer, PWS, CWD is a Professional Wetland Scientist and Minnesota Certified Wetland Delineator with 19 years of experience in natural resources regulations, management, and environmental review throughout the upper Midwest, Mid-South, Southwest and Alaska. She is currently the Vice Chair for the Minnesota Section of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration and is actively involved on the environmental committee with the Minnesota Iron Mining Association. She is a professional member of the Society of Wetland Scientists, Minnesota Wetland Professionals Association, and Minnesota Native Plant Society. Allyz plays a key role in both the public and private industry marketing for public infrastructure, aviation, transportation, energy, oil & gas, and mining markets in Minnesota and the upper Midwest.

John Heine, PG

Scientist, Natural Resources Research Institute, University of Minnesota Duluth

Program Co-Chair

John Heine is a scientist for the Economic Geology Program within the Minerals Division of the Center for Applied Research and Technology Development. His areas of research include industrial minerals and nonferrous minerals. In industrial minerals, his primary focus is on kaolin and ball clays, aggregates and geologic mapping. In nonferrous minerals, his primary focus is on Archean gold mineralization, volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits and environmental remediation and geologic mapping.
